Best Gig Ever Seen…

Fender’s very own Nigel Trimmington met up with Wayne Bennett, Guitarist and Bassist with one of the nation’s most successful solo artists, The Streets. The venue was the Lucas Arms in King’s Cross, London. After losing a tenner in the fruit machine, Wayne and Nigel sat down in the saloon bar and put the World to rights.

Fender: What do you consider to be the best gig you’ve ever seen?

Wayne: A guy called John Campbell. He’s in a Hendrix tribute act called ‘Are You Experienced?’. They played a club called the Met Lounge in Peterborough. I’ve seen him twice. That’s the closest I’ve ever seen anyone come to Hendrix.
